Wholesome Bellies is a plant-based cooking school meaning that all our classes use ingredients that are not derived from animal products. That means no meat, seafood, diary or any other ingredient that is animal based such as gelatine.

Most of our classes are gluten-free by default however with any classes where you see items that contain gluten all these recipes can be modified to suit the gluten-free diet. Therefore, if you are gluten-free or celiac you can confidently book into all of our classes except the Pasta masterclass and Dumplings.

Yes, At Nile Street, there is plenty of meter street parking; street parking is free in the evening and on weekends.

The day and date of our classes change from week to week. Usually, we run classes on Friday nights. Saturdays or Sundays to check the availability of classes. It is best to go to our website, look at all classes, and then you can check which day and time the classes are on.

All of our cooking classes are plant-based and the cuisines all range from Italian to Indian, Mexican, Middle Eastern Chinese, Thai, and several others. Again, just check our website for all the cuisines available.

Yes, you can buy gift vouchers to a class, or you can buy gift vouchers for a value .Our vouchers will be emailed to you within 24 hours as a PDF voucher, and you can email that to your friends or family to redeem.

Gift vouchers are easy to redeem on the PDF voucher you will see a code on the left-hand side when booking into your class on our website, simply use that code in the coupon section and it will discount your cooking class based on the value of the voucher.

The only thing you need to bring are some containers because sometimes we have leftovers and it’s great to take them home aprons will be provided at the class.

Wholesome Bellies is not a licensed venue.You are more than welcome to bring any alcoholic beverage into our cooking school and there will be no corkage charged.

Absolutely, At every single cooking class, you will be given a PDF recipe book in full color with pictures and all of the recipes we do in each class.

Great question, Please wear clothes that are comfortable that you can enjoy cooking and most importantly, please wear closed end shoes for the safety and wellness of all students.

It is best to arrive 10 minutes before your class to get settled in, grab your apron, wash your hands, and order yourself a tea, coffee, or non-alcoholic drink.

Great question to reschedule or cancel a class. Please contact us by email at [email protected] .Please note that we have a $30 rescheduling class fee.There are no cancellations but you can transfer your ticket to somebody else.

If this happens, please send us an email at [email protected] to let us know that you won’t be able to attend. Unfortunately, we require seven days’ notice to change the date of your class or accept a cancellation.

Yes, we thoroughly support students in our class and they are most welcome to bring an NDIS care worker care workers will need to pay for their class.However, we offer this at a discounted price.Please get in touch with us by email to [email protected]  if you would like to bring a care worker with you and we can arrange a unique offer code for you to use when booking in online.

All of our cooking classes are $130 per person.This includes all your recipes.A three hour class, a lovely sit-down meal, apron and takeaway food.

We have a range of teachers at wholesomebellies that have experience in the cuisines of choice.Our founder is Fiona, she runs most of our classes.We then have a specialist for Thai,  Chinese,  Mexican and many more.All of our teachers are very experienced, great, fun and knowledgeable with their food.

Absolutely,This is the best part of the class after our 2.5 to 3 hour cooking class.We will all sit down and enjoy a sumptuous meal together as a group.And if you’re lucky, there will be some leftovers to take home.

Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to join us at wholesomebellies due to insurance requirements.However, if your child is 12 years or above and competent in the kitchen, they are most welcome to attend with a parent or adult guardian.Ticket prices for Children are $130.

Our cooking courses are run throughout the year and are usually 4 to 6 weeks based on the courses offered.To find out more about our cooking courses, please check our website or contact us at [email protected] to ask more about the courses.The cooking courses are designed to help you transition to plant-based or learn how to introduce more plant-based meals into your diet.We work on the basics, soups, sauces right through the main meals and sides and salads.It’s a very comprehensive course that will have you very confident in your kitchen.

Our long table dinners are run every 2 to 3 months as a special night for you to come and enjoy a delicious 3 to 4 course dinner at Wholesomebellies. Our long table dinners are prepared by our founder and chef Fi and are a delicious dinner served on platters among friends and strangers on long tables.The events are absolutely beautiful and worth coming to a huge hit at Wholesomebellies and a very unique way to enjoy a lovely dinner among friends.Tickets are usually $72 and we are a BYO venue.
