This EPIC, brand new workshop, is here to inspire you to create delicious, healthy lunchbox items. After this workshop you’ll be inspired to make more of your lunchbox items from scratch and buy less packed foods.

This workshop is great for parents looking to kick off the year with some variety in their kids lunches, whilst saving money on packaged food. And an added bonus, less packaging waste in our land field.

It is also great for adults without kids, that are looking for fresh ideas for their own work lunches. Whether it’s some new healthy home made snacks or simply some new ideas on what to make.

What’s in the Workshop?

  • 4 hour, hands on workshop at Wholesome Bellies
  • As a group we will cook and learn together – four savoury lunch box foods and four sweet.
  • Everyone will take home a few pieces of everything we make – that mean’s you’ll have a week of healthy lunchbox foods be sorted and you can have a taste of them all before you decide what to make at home.
  • Full recipe book (printed and email PDF version)
  • Each recipe has modified versions so you can turn these 8 recipes into more than 20, giving you more variety for the kids.
  • Snacks, tea and coffee provided during the workshop to keep you energised!
  • A mini presentation on which packaged snacks are healthy options and where to buy them from (let’s face it, we all need a little help!) Making everything from scratch is not always realistic so what foods can we buy to support us?
  • Lunchbox prep hacks – how to cook in bulk, freezing foods, preparing the lunchbox.

The Menu

  • Rice broccoli bites
  • Pesto and cheese scrolls
  • Mini pizzas with home-made dough
  • Polenta chips
  • Banana pikelets
  • Mini muffins – chocolate, berry, vanilla
  • Chickpea cookies
  • Muesli bar

Plus we’ll also teach you to make:

  • Pita chips
  • Pesto
  • Classic tomato sugo for pizza and scrolls
  • Fancy sandwich ideas

All recipes are plant-based with an option for vegan or diary cheese. Any sugars used will be unrefined (using coconut sugar, maple syrup and rice malt syrup only) and an option to use white or whole wheat flour. This class in no Gluten Free.

Please note tickets are not refundable, however if unable to attend you can transfer the tickets to a friend (a re-booking fee applies).
