This one is going to be something truly extraordinary.

Your Borneo adventure begins in Kuching, where you’ll be welcomed and transferred to the beautiful Cove 55 resort resort, nestled between rainforest-covered mountains and the South China Sea.
Step Into Sarawak’s Living Culture
Experience the rich traditions of Borneo’s indigenous communities at the Sarawak Cultural Village. Wander through traditional longhouses, meet local artisans, learn about ancient customs, and gain insight into the diverse cultures that have shaped this remarkable region.
As evening falls, we’ll head into Kuching’s charming old town for dinner along the waterfront.
One of Borneo’s greatest natural treasures awaits. A full day in Bako National Park offers spectacular coastal scenery, jungle trails, secluded beaches, and abundant wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for the famous proboscis monkeys, wild boar, silver leaf monkeys, monitor lizards, and countless bird species.
Markets, Museums & Local Flavours
Experience Kuching through the eyes of the locals as we explore colourful markets filled with exotic fruits, spices, herbs, and regional delicacies.
Together we’ll shop for ingredients before heading to the impressive Borneo Cultures Museum, where our market treasures will be transformed into a delicious lunch.
We’ll fly deep into Sarawak’s rainforest wilderness and check into the luxurious Mulu Marriott Resort. Surrounded by lush jungle and winding rivers, this stunning resort offers the perfect opportunity to relax, book a spa treatment, enjoy the pool, or simply listen to the sounds of the rainforest.
Prepare to be amazed by the legendary Niah Caves, home to some of Southeast Asia’s most important archaeological discoveries. Walk through vast cave chambers, marvel at incredible limestone formations, and learn about the ancient peoples who once called these caves home.
One of the most meaningful experiences of the journey. Travel by longboat through the rainforest to visit a remote Penan village. The Penan are one of Borneo’s indigenous communities, known for their deep connection to the rainforest and traditional way of life.
You’ll gain a rare insight into their culture, hear their stories, and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding jungle, including a refreshing waterfall swim.
Next, we fly to Sabah’s vibrant coastal capital, Kota Kinabalu. This laid-back seaside city offers a wonderful blend of modern comforts, local culture, fantastic food, and breath taking sunsets.
Get ready for a day that feels straight from a postcard. We’ll explore the stunning islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, where turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and vibrant coral reefs await.
Spend the day swimming, snorkelling, relaxing on the beach, or simply soaking up the tropical atmosphere. As the sun begins to set, we’ll enjoy dinner overlooking the ocean while watching one of Borneo’s famous sunsets paint the sky in shades of orange, pink, and gold.
Our journey continues to Sandakan, gateway to some of Borneo’s most extraordinary wildlife experiences. Take time to relax and enjoy the waterfront atmosphere before the adventures ahead.

A true highlight of the journey. Spend the day at the world-renowned Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, where rescued orangutans are rehabilitated and prepared for life back in the wild.
Witness these incredible animals up close and learn about the important conservation work protecting their future. Next door, we’ll visit the Sun Bear Conservation Centre to meet the world’s smallest bear species and learn about efforts to protect them.
Experience the rainforest from a completely different perspective as we walk high above the forest floor along elevated canopy walkways.
The views, sounds, and wildlife encounters are unforgettable.
