No Meat May’s mission is to inspire and support more people to shift to plant-rich eating, so we can build a healthier, kinder, more sustainable world.

This Thai cooking class is the second Thai edition to Wholesome Bellies. With our first Thai Class, Thai Sensations, being a huge success, and more of a beginners class, we’ve dug deep to create a new class full of your Thai favourites. This class is packed with vibrant colours, using traditional Thai flavours and ingredients as well as loads of vegetables. And we just love how fresh and easy it is to replicate these classics.

Led by our chef, Lynn, who is also our gluten-free expert, you’re in for a real treat as she shares her experience of her travels around Thailand and the incredible food she’s learned to cook and enjoy.  Lynn has also studied nutrition and is well versed in the world of plant-based cooking and eating and has a broad range of knowledge in this space.  And the extra bonus is that this Thai class, like our other Thai class, is completely gluten-free.

All recipes have been re-created to ensure it’s 100% vegan and with so many alternatives today, you will be blown away at what’s possible.

Wholesome Bellies’ classes are for all levels as all recipes are simple, using only a few key ingredients.

OUR MENU:

  • Thai Fish cakes with jackfruit
  • Papaya salad (if not in season we may need to substitute for vermicelli noodles)
  • Tofu egg fried, pineapple rice
  • Massaman curry
  • Mango, lime vegan cheesecake

After our cooking, we will all sit to enjoy a yummy meal as a group with plenty of food to take home.

This class is completely gluten-free. As a vegan establishment the use of nuts in our premises is high.  Please note that our meals may contain traces of nuts.

Tickets are not refundable, however if unable to attend you can transfer the tickets.

Please note, whilst it doesn’t happen often, if we don’t reach our minimum number of six, this class may be rescheduled or a credit note/refund will be provided.

YOUR TEACHER

Lynn, a seasoned home cook and passionate vegan joined our Wholesome Bellies family in 2021. To support her daughter’s decision to go vegan she returned to University to study Nutrition and Dietetics.  Since then Lynn has proudly published her own book Nourished Vegan: Teenagers Guide to help other families considering plant-based eating through wholesome recipes, practical tips and helpful information. Lynn’s passion has inspired her to lead plant based workshops and classes across a variety of cuisines, which she is excited to share with people at any stage of their plant-based journey at Wholesome Bellies.
