To celebrate Wholesome Bellies’ 2nd birthday, we’ve invited Fi’s Mum, Rita, to share their family tradition and wisdom – the magic of home-made pasta

21 Nile Street, Woollongabba, 11am- 2pm

This is a very special, limited edition cooking experience. Our Founder, Fi, has invited her mum (former chef in her earlier years, running her own restaurants) to teach us the art of hand-made pasta making.

Rita, along with Fi will teach you the art of making home-made pasta dough by hand. We’ll work together to make a three or four hand made traditional pasta shapes.

To enjoy our pasta, we’ll create three yummy pasta sauces and then sit down and enjoy a heartfelt, Italian lunch with our beautiful Nonna!

There will be two options when you book – you can opt to make egg pasta or vegan pasta. Both are incredible and if you are keen to try both you can. However please note that there will be use of eggs in some pasta dough. The pasta sauces are all 100% plant-based

Unfortunately if you require gluten free this class will not be suitable for you. Sorry, we are yet to master the art of gluten free pasta making.

Please note tickets are not refundable, however if unable to attend you can transfer the tickets.


  • Hand made Ravioli filled with vegan ricotta and spinach, tossed in a fresh tomato and basil sauce.
  • Farfalle (little bows) tossed in a roast cauliflower, olive and tomato sauce
  • Egg fettucine with a our signature vegan bolognese ragu
  • Learn various other hand made pasta shapes
