At this class Fiona shares her mum’s family recipes\, handed down several generations.  It’s an absolute privilege to bring these recipes to life with our plant-based spin.  These recipes are very unique to the region of Sicily and meals you see at your local Italian restaurant. \n\n\n\nThis class is ideal if you looking to add more plant-based meals to your table.  And if you love Italian food\, and aren’t plant-based\, we promise you won’t even miss the meat in the full bodied\, packed with flavour recipes. \n\n\n\nWholesome Bellies’ classes are for all levels as all recipes are simple\, using only a few key ingredients.  Why complicate life 🙂 \n\n\n\nClasses are very personal\, and run by Fiona at our new venue at Woollongabba.  We take things slow\, we have an absolute ball and then sit down to a relaxed meal with like-minded people.  You’ll leave the class with a full tummy and a full heart. \n\n\n\nOur menu: \n\n\n\n\nOlive\, rosemary and garlic focaccia\n\n\n\nCaponata – a classic Sicilian dish made from capsicum\, eggplant\, onion and served with bread\n\n\n\nVegan calamari with garlic aioli\n\n\n\nRigatoni alla Norma (tomato sauce with crispy fried eggplant)\n\n\n\nLemon granita\n\n\n\nTraditional almond biscotti\n\n\n\n\nPlease let us know if you are gluten free or coeliac so we can be sure to modify the items above to suit your dietary requirements.
