So aligned with Wholesome Bellies ♥  \n\n\n\n21 Nile Street\, Woollongabba\, 10am – 1pm\n\n\n\nFiona’s in-laws are from India\, and she’s been so fortunate to learn from the best!  With her mother-in-law as the chef at her own Indian restaurants in Queensland for many years Fiona has given some classic recipes her plant-based spin and created this incredible masterclass. \n\n\n\nThe class is loaded with simple and flavoursome recipes.  Wholesome Bellies’ classes are for all levels as all recipes are simple\, using only a few key ingredients.  Why complicate life 🙂 \n\n\n\nTHE MENU: \n\n\n\nPotato and cauliflower pakoraCoriander chutneyBroccoli and lentil dhal with coconut creamTraditional chole curry (chick pea)Home-made roti breadBasmati rice infused with roast cumin and almonds\n\n\n\nThe class is 100% plant-based.  This class can be 100% gluten-free (please advise when booking) \n\n\n\nPlease note tickets are not refundable\, however if unable to attend you can transfer the tickets to a friend. \n\n\n\nClasses are very personal and run by Fiona\, at our beautiful kitchen and restaurant at Woolloongabba.  We take things slow\, we have an absolute ball and then sit down to a gnocchi feast.  You’ll leave the class with a full tummy and a full heart. \n\n\n\nPlease let us know if you are gluten free or coeliac so we can be sure to modify the items above to suit your dietary requirements. It’s essentially a traditional meal  \n\n\n\nOur founder’s in-laws are from India\, and her cooking is very much influenced from her mother-in-law who was the chef at her own Indian restaurants in Queensland for many years! These recipes are authentic and guaranteed to impress. \n\n\n\nThe word “thali” means plate and is an old custom. It’s essentially a traditional meal that’s served with up to 10 varieties of dishes in small round bowls called katoris. They are arranged on a big plate known as a thali.  This Thali meal is a combination of Fiona’s in-laws favourite dishes. \n\n\n\nThis class is loaded with full body flavours\, and a great variety of dishes to try out!  Wholesome Bellies’ classes are for all levels as all recipes are simple\, using only a few key ingredients.  Why complicate life 🙂 \n\n\n\nThis class is suitable for gluten free – every dish is gluten free! \n\n\n\nOur Menu \n\n\n\nAloo gobi (potato and cauliflower stir fry) Sambar dhalLemon riceEggplant curry with mustard seedsCoconut chutneyDorsa\n\n\n\nThe class is 100% plant-based. DESCRIPTION:Simple\, authentic Indian dishes everyone can create at home!\n\n\n\n21 Nile Street\, Woollongabba\, 6pm – 9pm\n\n\n\nFiona’s in-laws are from India\, and she’s been so fortunate to learn from the best!  With her mother-in-law as the chef at her own Indian restaurants in Queensland for many years Fiona has given some classic recipes her plant-based spin and created this incredible masterclass. \n\n\n\nThe class is loaded with simple and flavoursome recipes.  Wholesome Bellies’ classes are for all levels as all recipes are simple\, using only a few key ingredients.  Why complicate life 🙂 \n\n\n\nTHE MENU: \n\n\n\nPotato and cauliflower pakoraCoriander chutneyBroccoli and lentil dhal with coconut creamTraditional chole curry (chick pea)Home-made roti breadBasmati rice infused with roast cumin and almonds\n\n\n\nThe class is 100% plant-based.  This class can be 100% gluten-free (please advise when booking) \n\n\n\nPlease note tickets are not refundable\, however if unable to attend you can transfer the tickets to a friend. \n\n\n\nGnocchi is an absolute favourite dish for so many and getting the texture and flavour right can be a bit tricky. \n\n\n\nThere isn’t a better way to spend a few hours\, cooking and feasting on gnocchi.   In this class we’ll learn how to make three variations of gnocchi and three pasta sauces – all 100% plant-based. \n\n\n\nAnd we’ll even whip up an almond\, chocolate tart to indulge in after our gnocchi party. \n\n\n\nClasses are very personal and run by Fiona\, at our beautiful kitchen and restaurant at Woolloongabba.  We take things slow\, we have an absolute ball and then sit down to a gnocchi feast.  You’ll leave the class with a full tummy and a full heart. \n\n\n\nThis class is can be gluten free upon request. \n\n\n\nOur Menu \n\n\n\nSpinach gnocchi with a creamy mushroom carbonara sauceClassic gnocchi with a classic tomato and basil sauceSweet potato gnocchi with a roast tomato and garlic sauceChocolate almond tart\n\n\n\nPlease let us know if you are gluten free or coeliac so we can be sure to modify the items above to suit your dietary requirements. These recipes are authentic and guaranteed to impress. \n\n\n\nThe word “thali” means plate and is an old custom. It’s essentially a traditional meal that’s served with up to 10 varieties of dishes in small round bowls called katoris. A chef for over 30 years in their Italian restaurant\, Arrivederci. Rita is a passionate\, incredible chef. \n\n\n\nAt 75 years young she’s still cooking up a storm (at home) and will be offering a ‘once only’ cooking class at Wholesome Bellies with her daughter Fiona to celebrate the 1st year anniversary of Wholesome Bellies. \n\n\n\nThe recipes are very special\, classic Italian recipes you won’t usually find at your local restaurant. Her personality is infectious – she’ll make you laugh\, smile and fall in love with Italian food (if you aren’t already).
