DESCRIPTION:To celebrate Wholesome Bellies’ 2nd birthday\, we’ve invited Fi’s Mum\, Rita\, to share their family tradition and wisdom – the magic of home-made pasta\n\n\n\n21 Nile Street\, Woollongabba\, 11am- 2pm\n\n\n\nThis is a very special\, limited edition cooking experience.  Our Founder\, Fi\, has invited her mum (former chef in her earlier years\, running her own restaurants) to teach us the art of hand-made pasta making. \n\n\n\nRita\, along with Fi will teach you the art of making home-made pasta dough by hand.  We’ll work together to make a three or four hand made traditional pasta shapes. \n\n\n\nTo enjoy our pasta\, we’ll create three yummy pasta sauces and then sit down and enjoy a heartfelt\, Italian lunch with our beautiful Nonna!   \n\n\n\nThere will be two options when you book – you can opt to make egg pasta or vegan pasta.  Both are incredible and if you are keen to try both you can. However please note that there will be use of eggs in some pasta dough.  The pasta sauces are all 100% plant-based \n\n\n\nUnfortunately if you require gluten free this class will not be suitable for you. It’s essentially a traditional meal\n\n\n\n21 Nile Street\, Woollongabba\, 10am – 1pm\n\n\n\nOur founder’s in-laws are from India\, and her cooking is very much influenced from her mother-in-law who was the chef at her own Indian restaurants in Queensland for many years! These recipes are authentic and guaranteed to impress. \n\n\n\nThe word “thali” means plate and is an old custom. It’s essentially a traditional meal that’s served with up to 10 varieties of dishes in small round bowls called katoris. Well\, it’s time to enjoy some guilt free treats. It’s essentially a traditional meal  \n\n\n\nOur founder’s in-laws are from India\, and her cooking is very much influenced from her mother-in-law who was the chef at her own Indian restaurants in Queensland for many years! These recipes are authentic and guaranteed to impress. \n\n\n\nThe word “thali” means plate and is an old custom. It’s essentially a traditional meal that’s served with up to 10 varieties of dishes in small round bowls called katoris. DESCRIPTION:A traditional Chinese dumpling class presented by the talented Lisa from Saucy Wench!\n\n\n\n21 Nile Street\, Woollongabba\, 10am – 1pm\n\n\n\nWe have partnered up with Lisa from Saucy Wench in Brisbane.  An incredible all round human\, incredible cook and Founder and cook at Brisbane’s most delicious dumpling and Asian sauce business – The Saucy Wench. \n\n\n\nIn this class Lisa will so generously share with us her secret recipes for her vegan dumplings – savoury and sweet  Using 100% plant-based products\, including all sauces you will be blown away with the flavour and ease of these dumpling recipes.  \n\n\n\nThe Menu \n\n\n\nShitake mushroom dumplings and garlic chive pot-sticker dumplingsSticky Rice & Water Chestnut Steamed Shu MaiOnde-Onde sweet dumplings\n\n\n\nThe class is 100% plant-based and served with Saucy Wenchs’ incredible vegan sauces.  Unfortunately this class can’t be modified for gluten-free. DESCRIPTION:The word “thali” means plate and is an old custom. It’s essentially a traditional meal\n\n\n\n21 Nile Street\, Woollongabba\, 10am – 1pm\n\n\n\nOur founder’s in-laws are from India\, and her cooking is very much influenced from her mother-in-law who was the chef at her own Indian restaurants in Queensland for many years! These recipes are authentic and guaranteed to impress. \n\n\n\nThe word “thali” means plate and is an old custom. It’s essentially a traditional meal that’s served with up to 10 varieties of dishes in small round bowls called katoris. They are arranged on a big plate known as a thali.  This Thali meal is a combination of Fiona’s in-laws favourite dishes. \n\n\n\nThis class is loaded with full body flavours\, and a great variety of dishes to try out!  Wholesome Bellies’ classes are for all levels as all recipes are simple\, using only a few key ingredients.  Why complicate life 🙂 \n\n\n\nThis class is suitable for gluten free – every dish is gluten free! \n\n\n\nOur Menu \n\n\n\n\nAloo gobi (potato and cauliflower stir fry) \n\n\n\nSambar dhal\n\n\n\nLemon rice\n\n\n\nEggplant curry with mustard seeds\n\n\n\nCoconut chutney\n\n\n\nDorsa\n\n\n\n\nThe class is 100% plant-based.
